Hermiston, Oregon

Though we didn't read any books about elves and fairies, tear out any puncture vines, shoot holes into walls, or pull any fire alarms in front of teachers (all things Trevor did growing up), we had a really great time in Hermiston, his home town. I got to actually see the place Trev grew up, which was cool, and Trev got to say a final goodbye. Here are a few pics.

Makayla had her hands up in the air for at least two minutes

We hiked the Butte. Mmm... Mom and Dad's house is somewhere back there...

We went and played at the "beach." Makayla loves the water, and quickly realized that she also loves sand. We had so save her from getting a mouth full of it a couple times. In the end though, she prevailed and was super sorry that she did.

Kayaking!
